The Suzuki Association of Utah is pleased to announce that Celebration IX Gala will be held in the LDS Conference Center on September 19, 2015.
The Piano Celebration will be held on Friday September 18, in the Little Theater at the Conference Center with a dress rehearsal to be held the on Thursday September 17 in the Little Theater. The Piano Celebration will be a five piano concert.
The Harp Celebration will be held on Friday September 11, in the Tabernacle. Dress Rehearsals for the Gala will be held one week before the Gala on September 12.
There will be other events during the coming year as preparation for the Celebration. A five piano concert will be held on April 18 in Davis County. A five piano concert will be held at Libby Gardner Hall on June 13 primarily for Salt Lake Regions and Utah County Region. From those two concerts will be selected the groups that will perform in the Little Theater on September 18.
There are a few openings in some piano groups. If your student is not in a five piano group and you would like to join one contact Linda Garner at 801-571-6699 or garners@xmission.com. Rehearsals are in full swing, so call now before it is too late.
